Swiss Post drone takes off again for healthcare services

Swiss Post and drone manufacturer Matternet are resuming flights for healthcare services in Zurich and Lugano. This follows the Swiss Transportation Safety Investigation Board’s (STSB) announcement that the cause of the controlled emergency landing has been determined: a short circuit led to the incident.

Cyber Week brings in a record flurry of parcels

All thanks to Black Friday and Cyber Week, shops and online retailers are causing business to boom in the run up to Christmas as they shower Swiss Post with the first flurry of parcels and record volumes. Swiss Post is currently handling about a third more shipments than it normally would in its three parcel centers.
