Children’s letters: Swiss Post gave Santa a big helping hand

Swiss Post is pleased to have been able to help Santa Claus: from the end of November 2022, Swiss Post received 33,626 letters from all over the country addressed to Santa. This figure is, however, slightly lower than in the previous year. In their letters, the kids convey their material and immaterial wishes, while also showing their concern about the war in Ukraine. And many “big kids” also write to Santa: people who feel lonely and enjoy receiving a little word and a thought from him.

Santa and Swiss Post’s elves get to work

Every year, as the festive season approaches, children from all over Switzerland send their wishes, greetings and gift lists to Santa Claus. Santa’s little helpers have plenty to do, answering the huge number of letters from all the children. Last year, a new record was set, with almost 36,000 messages sent. Swiss Post’s elves work tirelessly and are ready to move heaven and earth to ensure each child receives a reply.
